ABOUT THE GAME: (We knew this was coming).  Following the praised reception of "Clyde's: The Game" by cast/crew, colleagues, and production staff of NBPAC and George St. Playhouse, my co-workers began thinking up ideas for me on what could be done for the next one.   Our audio head, Josh, questioned me during load-in, "How do you solve spelling a word if the word is spelled out already on the screen?" The concept was hilarious and I was thrilled to not be the only mind at work here.  

Skip ahead to tech-rehearsal day one, Friday, March 10th,  where I noticed one of our characters (spoiler alert) makes their first entrance riding a scooter.  There it is; immediately recalling a classic favorite of mine from childhood, "Skate or Die II," you moved on a skateboard collecting items through the level.  As I expressed this idea to my fellow technicians who pointed out (pretty sure it was Prince), "Oh like how you collect "SKATE" in Tony Hawk Pro Skater?" That magical connection confirmed the thought,  this was totally it. I got to work...
